Blood Donation Camp
The blood donation campaign is one of the virtuous initiatives taken by BIZ BEE. We routinely organize blood donation campaigns and have already successfully organized blood donation camps in two consecutive years – 2018 and 2019. Besides the club members, the whole Brac University family participates every year to make this event successful. Each time we have set a new milestone of collecting blood, with a total of 205 bags of blood collected in 2019, surpassing the previous year’s 178 bags of blood collection record. The Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation provides all the technical support every year. Apart from blood collection, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis, and Malaria tests were also carried out for blood donors. BIZ BEE is always aware of its social responsibility and aims to continue to organize similar events in the future as well.
